The purpose of the handbook is to collect and present in an overview the basic techniques and procedures of child rescue. It is a richly illustrated book that covers the most important emergency cases, child first aid knowledge, in 42 chapters, with a total of 260 pages. In addition to presenting life-saving interventions, it also covers all the topics that, in the authors´ experience, cause the most difficulties and frustration for parents. The authors´ goal is to provide clear guidance in any potentially life-threatening situation on what to do, what can be done, and what is forbidden until help arrives at the scene.
